We mourn the passing of Dylan Demetyre Pritchett, Sr.—“The Storyteller.” For more than three decades, Dylan carried history, culture, and truth to audiences nationwide. His presence gave Everybody’s Got A Story its heart. From the very first Hampton Storytelling Festival to many of our monthly gatherings, he was a beloved and steady force in our community.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at St. John Baptist Church, 1397 Penniman Road, Williamsburg, VA. Services are entrusted to Whiting’s Funeral Home, Williamsburg, VA.
